From February 4th, 2008, by order of the Port of Naples, the connections by ferries to the islands of the Gulf of Naples have been transferred to the ferry terminal in Porto di Massa.
All connections to Ischia departing from or arriving at Molo Beverello will therefore be moved to Porta di Massa, while observing the timetable.

Foot passengers can reach the terminal from the Porta di Massa to Pisacane gate or gate Immacolatella Vecchia; can also use the free shuttle at the bus station 'Piazzale Angioino'.

The trucks and vehicles with passengers already holding tickets or reservations can emark on board ships from Bausan gate(directly from the motorway) or Pisacane gate. Passengers with vehicles without a ticket or reservation will have access to the terminal and the ticket office through the Pisacane gate, along Via Marina.

For those who want to use the fast service (hydrofoils), the boarding is at Beverello. So the boardings to Ischia are two:

• Molo Porta di Massa – arrivals and departures - only ships


• Molo Beverello – arrivals and departures - only hydrofoils.

For those arrive by car and do not want to arrive in Naples, arrived at the exit of the motorway, take the Naples ring road and continue towards Pozzuoli up to the intersection of Via Campana. From the port of Pozzuoli you can reach Ischia Porto or Casamicciola only by ferry.

For those arrive by train at Piazza Garibaldi, in addition, there is also the possibility of arriving at Mergellina. The port is approx. 300mt and you can reach Ischia Porto and Forio only by hydrofoils Alilauro company.

The island of Ischia has 3 commercial ports: Ischia Porto, Casamicciola, Forio.
At the port of Ischia, the most important, dock ferries of companies Medmar Caremer (Porta di Massa and Pozzuoli) and hydrofoils of Alilauro and Caremer companies to and from Naples (Molo Beverello Mergellina Pier Porta di Massa) and Pozzuoli.
At the port of Casamicciola, instead, dock Caremar and Medmar ferries(Porta di Massa and Pozzuoli) and the only hydrofoils of SNAV company to and from Naples (Beverello).
At the port of Forio the shipping service, however, is only served by the company Alilauro with hydrofoils to and from Naples Beverello.
In summer there are extra connections to the islands of Capri, Ponza and Ventotene.
