Ischia and Marinas, Bays and Landfalls

With its 151 km of coasts, the island of Ischia, offers to the seamen many oppurtunities of landfalls and shelters. Five are the organized ports, three along the north-west coast, one along the west coast and one along the south coast.

The port of Ischia, is the main port of the island, situated in the North- North-West, guarantees commercial landfalls with ships and hydrofoils of different companies and a good tourist landfalls on floating pontoons along the famous rive droite of the port of Ischia. Its story, the one station of bunkering and its favorite position as regards the main street of shopping, create a landfall in great demand and crowded in hish tourist season and during the week ends in low season. The port of Casamicciola Terme, situated in the North is the second port of the island for importance and organization. Natural harbour in the center of the homonym small town, the port offers commercial landfalls with ships and hydrofoils, and also a secure and organized tourist landfall, the only disadvanteges is the proximity to the mai street of the center of Ischia. Following counterclockwise the small port of Lacco Ameno offers for its restained dimensions a limited tourist landfall. Very interesting is the new landfall realized along a breakwater wharf, used only in summer and reserved to mid-sized yacht landfall, privileged position in the center of the municipality of Laco Ameno sheltered by II- III e IV sector winds.  In the west side of the island we find the port of Forio, wide structure continuously under construction offers a good landfall in summer in a best postion. One landfall in the center of the port used as ships and hydrofoils landfall, it's possible to use water and electricity. In the south of the island it's situated the small port of Sant' Angelo small port of Sant' Angelo of Ischia,  an amazing place for keens of typical suburbs of the mediterranean culture and a quiet landfall, animated by the presence of some VIP that are passing through. To guarantee the contact with nature, the island offers dozens of attractive idyllic spots where it's possible to anchor sheltered by prevailing winds.
